In recent years, Longgan Lake District, based on its resource endowments and comparative advantages, focuses on the textile leading industry and the main direction of the industrial chain, takes the implementation of industrial chain investment as the focus, adheres to the equal emphasis on "attracting large and strong" and "attracting high and new", and promotes "extending the chain to supplement the chain" and "building the chain to strengthen the chain", so as to fully promote the development of the leading industry in the direction of high-end, intelligent and green.

Yu Chunming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Longgan Lake Management Zone, said that at present, Longgan Lake District has cultivated 76 textile enterprises, including 46 enterprises above designated size, accounting for more than 85% of the industrial output value of the whole zone. Longganhu District has initially formed a production capacity of 500000 spindles, 15000 sets of looms, and an annual output of 1 billion meters of various grey fabrics. With nearly 10000 industrial workers, it is currently the largest production base of chemical fiber textile clothing fabrics in central China and the key textile industry cluster in Hubei Province. The scale of water jet looms ranks first in the province. At present, Longganhu District is striving to build the largest production base and trading center of textile and clothing fabrics in the central region.

Focusing on the upstream and downstream of the textile industry chain, the Longgan Lake Management Zone actively guides enterprises in the park to strengthen upstream and downstream cooperation by adhering to supporting cost reduction. Hubei Dazhihui New Material Technology Co., Ltd., with an investment of 500 million yuan, is the first "5G+smart factory" in Longgan Lake. According to Wang Zhiqing, the general manager of the company, at the beginning of 2023, the company officially settled in the Longgan Lake Management Zone, creating a "Longgan Lake Speed" that was signed on the same day, started construction on the same day, and completed and put into production that year. The first phase project of the company has introduced 1000 sets of high-speed double jet wide loom, and by the end of last year, it has realized an accumulated output value of 230 million yuan.

In order to make up for the industrial weakness of existing textile enterprises in raw materials and sales, Longgan Lake District invested 210 million yuan in the construction of textile trade industrial park. The project integrates scientific research and development, business exhibition, and logistics trade, and is about to be put into operation.

Taking advantage of its proximity to Jiujiang Petrochemical, Longganhu District actively docks with Tongkun Group, Hengli Group, Zhicheng Chemical Fiber and other large raw material production enterprises, promotes the new polyester filament projects in the third phase of Dazhihui and the complementary chain projects such as Hualian's acquisition of Yulong Printing and Dyeing, and promotes the industry to realize the full chain extension from polyester filament to grey cloth, dyeing and finishing, and ready to wear.

Focusing on "high, refined and cutting-edge", Longgan Lake District encourages and guides enterprises to increase R&D investment, and promotes "machine replacement, equipment replacement and production line replacement".
